Java Specialty Coffee — Green Arabica for Export
One silo, one origin: arabica from the Magelang highlands of Central Java, sourced and managed by TapakNusa from cherry to green bean. Parameters are stated per lot in writing — the lot sheet travels with the quotation, not after it.
TapakNusa supplies green arabica coffee from the Magelang highlands of Central Java through our managed co-op sourcing network. We buy cherry and parchment from smallholder cooperatives we visit in person, mill and grade the green beans in Central Java, and state every lot's parameters in writing: crop year, altitude band, process (washed, honey or natural), moisture, defect count and a cupping score from an ICCRI-referenced protocol. The lot sheet travels with the quotation, not after it. Sensory notes across our highland lots run to brown sugar, chocolate, clove and cinnamon, herbal and honeyed cups — the per-lot cupping report governs what you actually receive. MOQ starts at a courier sample and steps up to 300 kg trial lots; commercial volumes ship FOB or CIF from Tanjung Emas (IDSRG) or Tanjung Priok (IDJKT) with COA, phytosanitary certificate and Certificate of Origin. Request the current lot sheet through our RFQ form — a human replies within one working day.

Lot parameters — what every sheet states
Industrial buyers plan against numbers, not adjectives. Each lot is documented on these five parameters; the report for your lot governs.
| Parameter | How we state it |
|---|---|
| Crop year | Harvest year stated per lot — volume confirmed against the running harvest before any contract |
| Altitude | Growing altitude band of the sourcing co-op, recorded per lot (Magelang highlands) |
| Process | Washed / honey / natural — stated per lot; process affects cup profile and moisture behaviour |
| Defect count | Full defects per 350 g sample, counted on the green bean — stated per lot, no grade theatre |
| Cupping score | Scored per lot on an ICCRI-referenced cupping protocol; the cupping sheet is shared with the quotation |
Cup profile — sensory notes from our highland lots
Notes above describe the recurring sensory range across our Magelang-highland sourcing; your lot's own cupping sheet is shared before any contract is signed.
How sourcing works
Our sourcing network in the Magelang highlands is managed, not guessed:
- Co-ops we visit. We buy through smallholder cooperatives in the Magelang highlands that we visit in person; price and spec are agreed per season, per lot.
- Milled and graded centrally. Green beans are milled, screened and graded in Central Java before packing — moisture and defect checks happen before anything is offered.
- Documented per lot. Crop year, altitude, process, defect count and cupping score live on one sheet with the same lot number that appears on your COA and documents.
- You verify before shipping. Appoint your own surveyor or cupper; samples and lot sheets come first, contracts come after.
Certification note: certified lots (organic / Fairtrade / Rainforest) are quoted only when the specific certified lot is secured — we do not sell uncertified stock as certified. Indicative figures are market context; your final quote is issued in USD against confirmed documents.
