Grade standards

GradeStandardRejected at sorting
A (Export)No tears · length ≥100 cm per leaf (target 120-150 cm; per-buyer spec) · fresh, full green · mature leaf, not too young or old · cleaned — free of visible foreign matter · variety stated per lot · vacuum-packed 1 kg packsDark/blackened edges · torn midrib · young pale leaves · insect damage · >5% moisture stains on the bundle
B (Standard)Below Grade A physical spec · minor edge tears allowed · length ≥80-100 cm · fresh, mature · cleaned before packingSame rejects as Grade A; edge blemishes under ~2 cm are trimmed, not hidden

Grading is by physical spec, not by name — the buyer's use-case (restaurant wrap vs retail pack) decides how hard we sort. Season note: heavy-rain weeks raise the risk of edge blackening; we confirm current quality state with photos before you commit.
